On April 12, 2017, the Hispanic Issues Section, along with the Mexican-American Bar Association of Texas, hosted a full day of CLE programming at the Texas Law Center. The CLE was followed by a trip to the Texas Supreme Court, hosted by friend and HIS Member Justice Eva Guzman, and then hospitality in the office of State Representative Roberto Alonzo. The day was capped by a legislative reception hosted together with the Texas Trial Lawyers Association and sponsored in part by the Hispanic Bar Association of Austin.
