The Hispanic Issues Section held a meeting of its committee chairs in Austin, Texas and began the process of planning out the section’s activities for the year. Some of the highlights from the meeting:
- We intend to survey our members in the next few weeks to get feedback about programming and other items you might like to see from the section.
- We are actively soliciting news items from members regarding your accomplishments
- We plan on undertaking significant new outreach efforts at law schools across the state.
- We plan on creating a newsletter that will be distributed to all of our members.
- We hope to host a CLE program in Spring 2014.
- We are going to be active in tracking legislative and other developments at the Texas Capitol.
- We are going to expand the content of this website substantially in the coming year.
